Fully funded IOE-Clarke Master’s Scholarship for Teachers from South Africa in University College London

Applications for entry in 2022-23 Institute of Education (IOE) academic session are now open. IOE is overwhelmed for receiving a donation from the family of its previous Director Sir Fred Clarke. The donation is made to provide scholarships for teachers from South Africa through the IOE-Clarke Master’s Scholarship.

University College London are inviting suitably qualified teachers from South Africa to apply for the IOE-Clarke Scholarship in the UK for the 2023/23 academic session. The scholarship covers full tuition fee and stipends for other expenditures.

Master’s degree courses offered at IOE.

Eligible nationals

South African citizens only.

Apply for Chancellor’s Scholarship and Study in UWE, Bristol.

Scholarship benefits

The scholarship will cover return flights to London, course tuition fees, and a monthly stipend for accommodation and subsistence in London.

Scholarship duration

1 year.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for IOE-Clarke Master’s Scholarship, you must:

  • a national of (and resident in) South Africa
  • practicing school teachers
  • have an unconditional offer to study a campus based masters’ degree at IOE.
