IOE-ISH Centenary International Master’s Scholarships

Applications for 2022-2023 IOE-ISH Centenary International Master’s Scholarships in UK are now open. IOE-Faculty of Education and Society have announced their profound joy to be partners with International Students House (ISH) in IOE-International Students House Centenary Scholarship, and the Mary Trevelyan Centenary Scholarship awards in honour of the founder of ISH.

IOE-ISH Centenary International Master’s Scholarships are full scholarships that cover 100% of tuition fees and accommodation for one academic year at ISH. However, the scholarships do not cover subsistence in London, travel or any other expenses that may be incurred by students. The scholarships are open for nationals of low income and lower-middle income countries. Subject to satisfactory progress, beneficiaries have opportunities to extend their scholarships beyond one academic year.

Eligible programmes for IOE-ISH Centenary International Master’s Scholarships

The scholarships are available in full time Taught Master’s Degree programmes offered at Institute of Education. These scholarships are however not available for the MA Educational Neuroscience or for online courses.

Eligible nationals

Nationals of low income countries such as Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Dem. Rep Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Korea, Dem. People’s Rep, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Togo, Uganda and Rep. Yemen are eligible for these scholarships.

Also eligible are nationals of lower-middle income countries such as Angola, Algeria, Bangladesh, Belize, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Cape Verde, Cambodia, Cameroon, Comoros, Congo, Rep., Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Arab Rep., El Salvador, Eswatini, Ghana, Haiti, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Iran, Islamic Rep, Kenya, Kiribati, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao PDR, Lesotho, Mauritania, Micronesia, Fed. Sts., Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, São Tomé and Principe, Senegal, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Vietnam, West Bank and Gaza, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Scholarships benefits

The IOE-ISH Centenary International Master’s Scholarships cover full tuition fees and accommodation at International Students House for one academic year. These scholarships do not cover subsistence in London, travel or any other expenses that may be incurred by students.

1 academic year, but subject to satisfactory academic progress, it may be extended.

Scholarships eligibility requirements

To be considered for these scholarships,you must:

  • Domiciled in an eligible low or lower-middle income country according to the World Bank classification (see full list of eligible countries above).
  • Have an official unconditional offer to study a full time master’s degree at IOE.
  • Not have applied for MA Educational Neuroscience or for online courses.
  • Not have studied or lived in the UK before.

Applicant that fulfills all the eligibility requirements above, should email IOEinternational@ucl.ac.uk with full name to request a scholarship application form. Applicant’s student ID number should be included.
